Is there a dress code?

Yes, we are requesting formal attire. Women are encouraged to wear elevated cocktail, or floor length dresses, while dark colored suits are recommended for men. A tuxedo is not required.

Our venue is a historic home with walled garden space, so ladies,

please be mindful of your shoe selection as you don't want to be doing the

"Charleston shuffle" on the old brick paths!

I have a severe food allergy - Can I make a special request?

Absolutely! Please let us know so that we are aware. We will be offering a variety of food stations for dinner service, but are happy to accommodate strict food allergies and/or dietary restrictions with our caterer.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

No onsite parking is available at the William Aiken House. Given its prime location on King Street, and close proximity to several hotels and airbnbs, we hope (weather permitting) guests can walk to our venue; Though if you must drive, there are two nearby parking areas (a garage, and surface deck) a block or so east on Ann Street.
